Paul Fong's distinguished career began with significant service in the New Zealand Defence Force and the New Zealand Police, where he gained invaluable experience in high-pressure environments.
His roles included providing protective services for high-profile figures such as the Prime Minister, as well as serving as a Police Instructor in firearms, tasers, and physical training.
During his tenure with the Police, Paul mastered his skills in conflict resolution, de-escalation techniques, and crisis management, making him a highly effective mediator and trainer.
